DOOM: The Dark Ages VFX Concepts

A small selection of 2D vfx concepts I did for DOOM: The Dark Ages.
It was a fun challenge designing all of these fx for the different facets of the game. A lot of research and reference gather went into these to make sure the scale of the various effects looked appropriate and believable. It was a struggle to find a look that was both "realistic" yet stylized for gameplay/player read.
