Asperitas Walkers

Out of the blue, came sounds NOAA haven’t heard since 1997. The frequency traveled far across the western coast of South America, everywhere it touched, marine life quaked in terror as mass stranding littered the beaches from Peru to the southern tip of Chile, almost as if the calls triggered a primal prey flight instinct long since tucked away in their genetic coding. Weeks of traveling up and down the coast landed me some whispers from locals about strange giant shapes moving off the coast of Chile. There I was, freezing my ass off next to the coast day after day. Then finally, out of the wavy clouds of the asperitas... they came.
